  • ~ Sliding through crazy seas on a thin board ~ Hurricane Jova turned aside before reaching the Hawaiian Island shores. Jova&#8217;s close visit created some big and wild surfing waves. This guy managed to ride his wave, and then getting his first look at a monster wave behind him~ *On my public Flickr photo website, this surfing shot has been selected as best by thousands of viewers. (That page on my Flickr site here: http://flickr.com/photos/sparkyleigh/46056787/in/set-72157594275914289/ ) Prints nicely at 20X30-inches ~

  • This anole lizard licks nectar drops off an octopus tree's berry-like blossoms The nectar oozes out of the little flowers when the heat of the sun hits them. Bees, birds and these anole lizards love it! ~~ Island of Hawaii. Note: This photo prints without any cropping in the following sizes: 8X12, 12X18, 16X24, 20X30 and 24X36-inches.   • ~ Pali Moon ~<br /> <br /> While camping along the Polihale coast on Kauai I was lucky to spot the moon about to rise up over the huge overhanging cliffs (pali in Hawaiian). I set up the tripod just in time to catch the moon rising over the forested ridge above the camp.<br /> <br /> Printing note: Due to my square cropping, it is difficult to find a good pre-set print size for this one. So I suggest selecting the general size you would like and try using the crop and no-crop tool to find your preference. (Use the 'no-crop' if you want the exact framing above.)<br /> <br /> Kauai Hawaii
