  • Lehua Blossom and newly grown leaves of the Ohia Tree<br /> <br /> The closer I got to these lehua flowers the more fun they became.<br /> Not only the water droplets from the steady drizzle, but the way the budding stem leaves (called liko lehua) made these wonderful little cut-out shaped animal people.

  • Kalalau Valley Ridges -- A volcano etched by four million years of rain<br /> <br /> Late day sun illuminates the eastern ridge of the famous Kalalau Valley on the island of Kauai in Hawaii, which rise over four-thousand feet from the sea.
