This book edition contains 83 of my very best molten lava photographs, each with titles and captions. There is an informative two-page introduction. The book also includes an Artist Statement and a page dedicating the book to my dad, who passed away May 14th, 2008.

Ho'ohanohano Pele is an extensive & varied collection of active lava photos that I have taken in or near the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park over the past eleven years, with many of the photos taken from August 2008 to December 2009 during a time of spectacular new lava activity. The last images included in the book were taken on December 6th, 2009, four days before publication. Many of the molten lava photos here on my website are included in the book, and many that were only be offered in the book.
